Excellent service, fish is always fresh, store is immaculate. Tuna, grouper, and shrimp boil are some of our favorites along with homemade tuna dip, shrimp dip, and remoulade.

This seafood market is a hidden gem, but here’s the real deal, they will hook up some steamed seafood on the premises! The picture shows a steamed seafood plate I ordered... Shrimp, Corn, Broccoli and Sausage. I had them prepare it medium - hot. The picture does not do justice because for one you can’t smell how fragrant it was and you can’t tell how heavy the container is. But wait.... This tasty meal was with a half pound of shrimp. So I know I’ll be back to try the lobster and crab meals... My hats off to the Byrd family and my apologies for letting everyone know how good this is so you may have to extend your hours to catch all the Air Base traffic. Absolutely amazing. Decent pricing Fresh vegetables Cooked to perfection Friendly staff ...oh wait.... I didn’t tell you about the Alaskan salmon they have... just trust me and go check it out for yourself!

Five stars isn't enough... Let me tell you why Byrd's is better than any of the overpriced, waterlogged, and freezer-burnt "crabs" they peddle at the other places in Destin(and why it's well worth the toll price coming over): Crab-eaters can rejoice in the satisfaction of meat that comes out WHOLE with very little effort after cracking the shell. I don't know what kind of sorcery they've got going in the steamer back there but let me tell you I eat dungeness crabs here twice a week and they consistently come out perfect and every piece of the meat comes out whole every time. The only problem you'll have is trying to decide what to have them steam, because everything they have is amazing.

Byrd’s has the freshest, best tasting seafood I have ever had!!! The staff is friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My wife and I LOVE getting the royal reds and DELICIOUS lobster. They also have hand cut steaks. Don’t walk; RUN to Bryd’s. You won’t be disappointed.

Stopped by for the first time to satisfy my pregnancy craving...shrimp! The woman I interacted with was so kind. I ordered steamed shrimp, which was delicious, as well as raw shrimp for later. I have never been in a seafood market as clean as this one. I fully expected to walk in and be overwhelmed by all the fishy sites and smells, but they do a great job of keeping it clean and everything well contained. It was high quality but with a small town friendly staff feel. I am excited to have discovered this market and look forward to my next round of seafood!

WOW, I have heard great things about Byrd's Seafood, but when I went in I was really impressed! This has to be the cleanest seafood store I have ever been in. I actually got to meet the owner and she showed me around. I was super impressed with the selection of choices of fresh seafood on display. If you are looking for fresh seafood please show Byrd's Seafood some love. Yes, I was dressed as Captain Billy!

Super nice folks with great food in a beautiful, clean market. Got steamer trays with shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage & veggies. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Their sauces were excellent as well. You won’t be disappointed!
